Position Description 

As the Concessions Lead for the Missouri Reign, you will take on a leadership role in overseeing the successful operation of our concessions, ensuring a delightful experience for our fans.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:


  1. Leadership and Supervision:

    • Lead and supervise the concessions team, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth daily operations.

    • Delegate tasks effectively to team members and provide clear instructions.

  2. Inventory Management:

    • Take a lead role in managing and maintaining inventory levels for concession items.

    • Collaborate with team members to create efficient restocking procedures.

  3. Ordering and Supplies:

    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to place orders, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

    • Oversee the pickup of supplies and verify orders against requisitions.

  4. Stocking and Replenishing:

    • Ensure all concession stands are adequately stocked with food, beverages, and other items before, during, and after events.

    • Monitor product freshness and oversee the removal of expired or damaged items.

  5. Customer Service:

    • Set a high standard for customer service within the concessions team.

    • Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

  6. Cleanliness and Hygiene:

    • Enforce cleanliness and hygiene standards in the concession areas.

    • Oversee proper sanitation procedures for food handling and preparation.

  7. Team Collaboration:

    • Foster a collaborative environment within the concessions team, promoting effective communication and teamwork.

    • Communicate regularly with supervisory staff to address challenges and implement improvements.

  8. Cash Handling Oversight:

    • Provide oversight on cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and accountability.

    • Report any discrepancies to supervisory staff and assist in resolving issues.

  9. Adaptability:

    • Lead the team in adapting to changing demands and requirements during peak periods or special events.

    • Be willing to assist in other operational areas as needed.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in concessions or a similar role with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Ability to lift and move boxes and equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
