Position Description 

As the Social Media Content Manager for the Missouri Reign, you will be the driving force behind our online presence, working to promote the team and engage with fans across various platforms.


Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Content Creation:

    • Develop creative and engaging content for the team's social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.

    • Capture and curate high-quality photos, videos, and graphics during games, events, and behind-the-scenes moments.

  2. Live Coverage:

    • Be present at games and events to provide live coverage on social media platforms.

    • Interact with fans in real-time, responding to comments, questions, and creating an interactive and vibrant online community.

  3. Collaboration with Board and Staff:

    • Work closely with the board, coaching staff, and other team members to align social media content with overall team messaging and goals.

    • Coordinate promotional campaigns and initiatives across various departments.

  4. Trend Analysis:

    • Stay informed about current trends in social media, sports marketing, and entertainment.

    • Implement innovative strategies to keep the team's social media content relevant and engaging.

  5. Fan Engagement:

    • Develop strategies to increase fan engagement and grow the team's social media following.

    • Foster a positive and inclusive online community for fans to connect and share their passion for the Missouri Reign.

  6. Social Media Calendar:

    • Create and maintain a content calendar, ensuring a consistent and cohesive posting schedule.

    • Coordinate with other departments to incorporate key events, promotions, and milestones into the social media strategy.

  7. Analytics and Reporting:

    • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track the performance of content and campaigns.

    • Provide regular reports and insights to management, adjusting strategies based on performance data.

  8. Creativity and Innovation:

    • Bring a fresh and innovative perspective to social media content creation.

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns.


- Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and game days.
- Familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools is a plus.
