Position Description 

As a Game Day Operations team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and successful execution of our home games. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of duties, from preparing the field to assisting with halftime activities. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering an exceptional game day experience for our fans, players, and staff.


Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Field Setup and Maintenance:

    • Prepare the field before each game, including setting up flags, checking nets, and ensuring a safe playing environment.

    • Arrange and secure team tents and equipment as needed.

  2. Player and Team Support:

    • Fill up water coolers for both home and visiting teams to ensure players stay hydrated.

    • Assist teams with any logistical needs before, during, and after the game.

  3. Gate and Ticketing Support:

    • Ensure the ticketing and gate areas are set up and ready for fans.

    • Assist with ticket sales and gate management as necessary.

  4. Worker Coordination:

    • Oversee the check-in process for game day workers and volunteers and interns.

    • Assign tasks and provide guidance to ensure all responsibilities are covered.

  5. Referee Assistance:

    • Support referees by providing necessary equipment and amenities before, during, and after the game.

    • Assist with halftime briefings and any referee needs.

  6. Halftime Entertainment:

    • Coordinate and facilitate halftime activities, promotions, and entertainment.

    • Ensure the smooth flow of on-field events and fan engagement.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Address any unexpected challenges or issues that may arise during the game.

  • Collaborate with other game day staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient game day experience.

  • Assist in post-game cleanup and field restoration.
