Coming off a shutout loss, the Missouri Reign look to get back on the right track in an exhibition match against KC Current II, the reserve team for the KC Current, on Monday.

The Reign (2-0-4) hope to build some momentum before their next conference matchup against first place Lou Fusz (4-1-0) on at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at R. Marvin Owens Field. Standing in their way is the Current II, the reeserve team for the National Women's Soccer League squad which is 10-2 on the season. Current II plays an exhibition schedule in the WPSL this year before entering the WPSL next year.

The home team competed in The Soccer Tournament (a 7v7 competition where a team needs to hit a target score in order to win) earlier this month. This was their first time playing in the two year history of the women's tournament. Forward Livvy Moore is a name to watch. She scored the Target Score Time game winning goal against Wrexham for their first and only win of the tournament on June 6, winning 6-3.

Midfielder Laudan Wilson is another name to watch. She scored an impressive Olimpico goal (a goal directly off a corner kick with no other player touching it), her second goal of the game, to tie the score 3-3 against Wrexham.

Holland Hawkins and Georgia Pardalos lead the Reign in the points column this season.

The two squads are set to face of at 6:30 p.m. Monday at CPKC Stadium.
